7-Day Gujarat Heritage & Wildlife Itinerary
Arrive at Ahmedabad Airport/Station, transfer to your hotel. Later, visit the Sabarmati Ashram, Hutheesing Jain Temple, and the intricate Adalaj Stepwell. In the evening, enjoy a stroll along the Sabarmati Riverfront. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
After breakfast, explore the UNESCO World Heritage City with a visit to the Jama Masjid and Sidi Saiyyed Mosque. Later, embark on a scenic drive to Sasan Gir, the home of the Asiatic lion. Check into your wildlife resort and relax amidst nature. Overnight in Sasan Gir.
Embark on an early morning jeep safari into Gir National Park for the best chance to spot the majestic Asiatic lion, along with other wildlife like leopards, deer, and numerous bird species. Return to the resort for breakfast. You can opt for an afternoon safari as well (at extra cost). The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Sasan Gir.
After breakfast, drive to the holy temple town of Somnath. Check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the magnificent Somnath Temple, the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas, to witness the evening aarti and enjoy the sound and light show. Overnight in Somnath.
After morning darshan at Somnath, drive to the sacred city of Dwarka. En route, visit Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. On arrival in Dwarka, check into your hotel. In the evening, attend the enchanting aarti at the Dwarkadhish Temple. Overnight in Dwarka.
In the morning, visit Bet Dwarka and the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. After darshan, begin your return journey to Ahmedabad. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey, filled with memories of Gujarat's rich culture and incredible wildlife.

- Children below 5 years are complimentary (sharing bed with parents).

The best time to visit Gir National Park is from December to March, as the weather is pleasant. The park is closed during the monsoon season, from mid-June to mid-October. Early morning safaris generally offer the best chances for wildlife sightings.
Gir safari permits must be booked online in advance through the official government portal. They sell out very quickly, especially during peak season. We assist in the booking process, but it is subject to availability at the time of booking. It is crucial to provide valid ID proofs for all travelers.
The itinerary involves some long drives, as the destinations are spread out across the Saurashtra region. However, we plan the route to be as comfortable as possible with adequate stops. The vehicle provided is a comfortable, private AC car to make your journey pleasant.
