6-Day Essence of Kerala Itinerary
Your tour begins upon arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station. Our representative will meet you and you'll proceed on a scenic drive to Munnar, enjoying the views of Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls en route. Check into your hotel and relax in the cool, refreshing climate. Overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Munnar's attractions. Visit the Mattupetty Dam for boating, Echo Point to hear your voice resonate, and the Tea Museum to learn about tea processing. Stroll through the lush green tea gardens for beautiful photos. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Enjoy breakfast and then drive to Thekkady, the spice capital of Kerala. Check into your hotel. In the afternoon, take an aromatic tour of a local spice plantation. You can also opt to watch a traditional Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance in the evening (optional, at own cost). Overnight stay in Thekkady.
In the morning, you can go for a boat ride on Periyar Lake inside the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a chance to spot wild animals (optional, at own cost). Later, drive to Alleppey. Board your private houseboat by noon and begin your serene journey through the backwaters. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast will be served on board. Overnight on the houseboat.
After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive to the historic city of Cochin. Check into your hotel. Later, go for a sightseeing tour covering the Fort Kochi area, the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and the Mattancherry Dutch Palace. Overnight stay in Cochin.
After a final breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be transferred to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your departure, carrying wonderful memories of your Kerala tour.
