FAQs for the Complete Kerala Tour
Kovalam is more developed with its three famous crescent-shaped beaches (Lighthouse, Hawa, Samudra) and offers a wide range of resorts and activities. Varkala is known for its unique, stunning cliffs adjacent to the Arabian Sea, giving it a more bohemian and laid-back vibe. Our itinerary includes Kovalam, but we can customize it to include Varkala if you prefer.
A day trip to Kanyakumari is highly recommended if your schedule permits. It's the southernmost tip of mainland India, where you can witness the confluence of three oceans. Key attractions include the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. While it is a long day trip from Kovalam, the experience is unique and memorable.
This one-way itinerary is designed for maximum efficiency and to avoid long, repetitive journeys. It allows you to cover Kerala's key destinations in a logical north-to-south sequence, starting from central Kerala (Cochin) and ending near the southern tip (Trivandrum/Kovalam), which saves considerable travel time and enhances your overall experience.
